The Commissioner of the Israel Prison Service (IPS), Lt. Gen. Ofra Klinger, invites you to participate in the International Conference of Prison Commissioners and senior staff. The Conference is organized in cooperation with the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya.

In recent years, global Jihad has spread and taken roots in many countries around the worldand it leads to new challenges we all have to deal with, terror acts committed by citizens. The return of the Terrorist Foreign Fighters from Iraq and Syria and the radicalization within the prisons is a new challenge we all have to confront.

The Israel Prison Service (IPS) Holds 6,000 security inmates from different organizations (Hamas, ISIS and others). The conference presents an opportunity to deepen the knowledge in the field, network and share best practice.

At the conference, a new research on lone-wolf terrorism will be presented by the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT), security prisons will be visited and lectures will be given by experts in the field from ICT and senior staff of the Israel Prison Service.
